Spooky season is here, which means everyone living at our One Museum Square apartments in Los Angeles needs to start decorating for Halloween. Whether you are looking for unique or affordable decoration ideas, here are some of our favorite ways to decorate for the most spooktacular time of year.
Decorating Your Apartments in Los Angeles for Halloween
Spooky and Playful. Some of you living at our Mid-Wilshire apartments for rent will want to get really spooky with the decor. There are tons of fun ways to go about this. Starting with spider webs on the outside of your door. We would also include a doormat with a fun Halloween graphic and a “keep out” sign hanging on the door. For the windows, you can hang skull-shaped garlands or bats. You can also change the color of your lightbulbs in your apartments to either purple or orange to play up the scary ambiance. Don’t forget about the candy! Any surface space in your Mid-city apartments for rent in Los Angeles, like coffee tables or dining tables, should have a cute bowl filled with your favorite candy. Finally, make sure to include uncarved pumpkins somewhere. We suggest buying two to four small pumpkins and bookending them around your media center.
Decorate Your Balcony. Speaking of pumpkins, everyone living at our Mid-Wilshire apartments has a balcony. Make sure to decorate this space! We suggest including some lights. You can opt for purple twinkle lights or string lights shaped like pumpkins. Another fun idea is to create a witches nook in one of the balcony corners with a broom surrounded by skeletons and a caldron.
Opt for Elegant. Some of us may want to maintain a more modern and elegant look for our apartments for rent on Wilshire. That is where Pottery Barn and West Elm come in. This simple and sophisticated decor includes orange throw pillows, pumpkin-shaped coasters, skull candles, and jack-o-lantern wine cups. For the front door, you can put a fall-themed wreath and, of course, some pumpkins.
